The 7th of annual Athens Show 2006 organized by Historical Figure Modelers Club of Athens –Star Club was held in
Athens-Greece from the 26th to the 28th of May. As the recent years, the show was held in Psycharis Art Gallery in
Galatsi,close to the center of Athens.
There, besides the Show Room (on the second floor of the Gallery) , was a Vendors area on the first
floor with many historical figures from Athens Miniatures, Pegaso Models, Romeo Models, Seil Models, Latorre, Andrea
Miniatures, Soldiers, El Viejo Dragon,etc. There was also a Bookshop stand with a large collection of
historical and modelling books.

Second floor was the Art Gallery (Show Room) with nice decoration and illumination. There were nice paintings on the walls, many shelves and desks on both sides to display models comfortably and many spots on the ceiling made a luminous atmosphere to see all details of displays. A collection of original World War 2 uniforms was also on display in a small room next to the figure exhibit.
The show was, well prepared , professionally organized by members of Star Club. All members of Club worked so hard even in gallery and out of gallery to make everyone happy and no problem occurred with their great service either in the competition limits nor in the hospitality .
Participation to the show was good enough and more than 300 historical figures, busts and vignettes entered the competition. The entries quality of all figures on Master Class and Standard Class were very high giving the judges hard decisions to choose the figures that will be awarded.
